Type 69 Pre-applied Anaerobic Sealant Rivet Nut
Type 69 sealing rivet nuts are supplied with the sealant already on the part. As the nut is set with ordinary blind-riveting tooling, the body deforms and the adhesive layer is pressed into the thread and the joint gap, where it cures into a solid barrier.
Because the seal is created during installation, the operation remains a single step: there is no sealant to dispense, no gasket to place and no additional curing station. The cured adhesive simultaneously locks the thread against vibration, so the nut resists loosening as well as leakage.
