Bonding Nuts
The Bonding Nut brings a threaded connection point to surfaces that cannot be drilled. Its wide base provides a generous bonded area, and the specially treated underside promotes strong adhesion with structural adhesives, so the nut is held in place by a joint that resists both pull-off and torque.
Once bonded, the nut provides a normal internal thread for standard screws. That lets designers use conventional bolts and machine screws on composite shells, glass panels and ultra-thin metal sheets that would otherwise be closed to bolted joints, without introducing holes that weaken the part or create leak paths.
