IP68 Pre-applied Adhesive Sealing Bolt1
This sealing bolt is supplied ready to seal. During production, a leak-proof sealant is applied to the thread; installing the bolt compresses that layer, driving it into the clearances of the thread helix and closing the path along which fluid would otherwise creep out of the joint.
Sealing and locking therefore happen together, in the single act of tightening. The assembly line needs no sealant dispenser, no gasket, no curing step and no second locking operation, which shortens cycle time and removes several sources of process variation.
The bolt also resists chemical media and vibration-induced loosening, and it maintains leak-proof performance under cyclic pressure conditions — so a joint that is pressurized, depressurized and re-pressurized many times over its life stays sealed.
Focused on new-energy vehicle powertrain systems including battery, motor and electronic controls, automotive cooling circuits and outdoor energy storage cabinets, this bolt is also widely used in 5G telecommunication base stations, smart water meter sensors and underwater equipment.
