This TORX PLUS® 8IP Tool Screw is an M2.5×6.5 fastener with a 0.45mm pitch, produced in Grade 12.9 high-strength material. It brings the strength of a property-class-12.9 fastener into the miniature scale required by compact precision products.
The TORX PLUS® drive is the key to working at this size. Its broad, near-vertical driving flanks allow significantly higher torque transfer than conventional recesses, so a very small screw can still be tightened to a reliable preload without stripping the recess or slipping out of the driver.
