High-Strength Aluminum Alloy Center-Mount Sleeves
The High-Strength Aluminum Alloy Center-Mount Sleeve is a structural component for battery pack assemblies. It is produced by cold forging rather than machining from solid bar, a process that shapes the metal by plastic deformation so the material grain follows the contours of the finished part.
Continuous grain flow is the reason cold-forged parts outperform machined equivalents: there are no cut grain boundaries to act as crack initiation sites, so the sleeve carries load with greater toughness and fatigue resistance while using less material. That translates directly into weight savings — critical in electric vehicles, where every kilogram of structure reduces range.
The sleeve provides a robust mounting interface for the battery pack, taking up clamping load and distributing it into the enclosure structure so that the pack remains dimensionally stable through assembly, transport and service.
Engineered for high-efficiency assembly in the next generation of transportation, these center-mount sleeves provide secure structural mounting and internal alignment for new-energy-vehicle battery enclosures.
They are also used for lightweight reinforcement of chassis components and other structural joints where mass reduction and load capacity must be balanced.
