Hexalobular (Torx) Anti-Loosening Screw

Hexalobular (Torx) Anti-Loosening Screw

Hexalobular (Torx) Anti-Loosening Screws are manufactured from premium alloy steel using precision cold-heading. Their threads carry a pre-applied nylon patch or adhesive coating that increases friction and prevents loosening, giving high reusability and automated-line compatibility.

Product Specifications

Product Description

The Hexalobular (Torx) Anti-Loosening Screw is built for miniature products that vibrate. It is cold-headed from premium alloy steel — a process that forms the part by material displacement and strengthens it in the process — and the thread is supplied with a locking element already applied.

That locking element is either a nylon patch or an adhesive coating. Both raise friction in the thread so the screw cannot unwind on its own, and both are dry, pre-applied treatments: nothing has to be dispensed on the line and no residue is left inside the assembly. The nylon-patch version can also be reused several times without losing holding force.

The Torx (hexalobular) recess transfers torque reliably and resists cam-out, which keeps automated screwdriving consistent. Combined with the anti-loosening treatment, it delivers dependable connection reliability in high-vibration environments — in small devices where a loosened screw means a returned product.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Precision Cold-Heading: Forms a strong, consistent screw body from premium alloy steel.
  • Pre-Applied Nylon Patch or Coating: Raises thread friction to prevent self-loosening.
  • High Reusability: Nylon-patch versions can be retightened multiple times without losing retention.
  • Torx Drive: Hexalobular recess transfers torque without cam-out on automated lines.
  • Vibration and Impact Resistant: Keeps miniature joints tight under sustained vibration.

Application Industries

Extensively used in consumer electronics, UAVs and drones, automotive interiors and smart equipment, these screws are engineered for the precision fastening and long-term anti-loosening requirements of miniaturized devices operating under high-frequency vibration and impact.

They suit any small assembly produced on automated lines where a reliable, reusable locking screw is preferred over liquid adhesives.
