NVIDIA-Certified UQD Zero-Drip Quick Disconnect

NVIDIA-Certified UQD Zero-Drip Quick Disconnect

The NVIDIA-Certified UQD Zero-Drip Quick Disconnect delivers a <0.05ml/min leakage rate at 45LPM flow (NVIDIA Spec v3.2 Sec 5.1.3) with tool-free connection in 8.3 seconds. Validated for 200+ thermal cycles from −25℃ to 85℃ without seal degradation, it keeps cold plates thermally stable in liquid-cooled AI systems.

Product Specifications

Product Description

The UQD Zero-Drip Quick Disconnect is a liquid-cooling connector for GPU cold plates and high-density compute racks. It is certified to NVIDIA's UQD specification and holds a leakage rate below 0.05ml/min at 45LPM flow (NVIDIA Spec v3.2 Sec 5.1.3) — a level of sealing that keeps coolant inside the loop during connection, disconnection and long-term service.

The connector couples without tools in about 8.3 seconds, which matters during predictive maintenance when cold plates must be swapped quickly inside a running rack. A positive-locking collet holds the joint closed and resists vibration-induced disengagement at pressures up to 120psi (per SAE AS1353 Class C), so pump and fan vibration cannot work the coupling loose.

Thermal stability is the reason the sealing performance is specified so tightly. Maintaining a 0.5℃ thermal delta across a GPU cold plate keeps accelerator clocks predictable; even a 0.1℃ fluctuation is enough to throttle AI training throughput. The disconnect has also been validated over 200+ thermal cycles from −25℃ to 85℃ without seal degradation, so sealing performance is retained across the thermal life of the rack.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Certified Zero-Drip Sealing: Leakage below 0.05ml/min at 45LPM flow to NVIDIA Spec v3.2 Sec 5.1.3.
  • Tool-Free 8.3-Second Connection: Fast coupling and uncoupling for cold-plate swaps during predictive maintenance windows.
  • Positive-Locking Collet: Resists vibration-induced disengagement at up to 120psi (SAE AS1353 Class C).
  • Thermal-Cycle Validated: Performance held over 200+ cycles from −25℃ to 85℃ without seal degradation.
  • Thermal Stability Focus: Supports a stable 0.5℃ thermal delta across cold plates, protecting accelerator throughput.

Application Industries

Deployed in zero-tolerance leakage environments where a connector failure interrupts compute, the UQD disconnect serves NVIDIA HGX-class supercomputer nodes and other eight-GPU systems that require fast cold-plate swaps, liquid-cooled AI training racks that must run continuously for large-model inference and training, and clusters operating in high-vibration environments where ordinary push-to-connect fittings leak.

It is equally suited to autonomous-vehicle and digital-twin simulators, where real-time sensor fusion depends on tightly controlled thermal stability across the compute modules.
